EBA Plans 20th Anniversary Meeting in Orlando, FL in January 2014
The Environmental Bankers Association, a nonprofit 501 (c) (6) professional trade association located in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia, turn 20 years old in 2014. EBA represents some of the largest universal, national, super-regional, money center and community banks in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Our focus is environmental risk management and sustainability development as these services apply to preserving lender net income and assets from environmental risk issues. We are celebrating our 20th Anniversary in Orlando, Florida and would like to talk to you about how we might perform some collaborative events with your member banks in attendance. At our semi-annual meeting, EBA schedules two and a half days of conference and educational outreach in the areas of environmental risk management, appraisal, sustainability, addressing environmental due diligence for loan life cycle origination through foreclosure, property condition reports, energy auditing, etc. In particular, we will tackle topics at our Orlando meeting such as Scope 3 Bank Financed Emissions, determining levels of risk tolerance for banks, environmental due diligence for multi-party lender transactions, the evolving role of property condition assessments in construction lending and pre- and post-foreclosure transactions, career sustainability, regulatory and legal changes in vapor intrusion, legal analyses updating bank law cases, an open forum and much more.
